Project Supervisor
We are seeking a Project Architect / Interior Designer / Civil Engineer with minimum 3-4 years of experience in the building construction industry namely commercial real estate pertaining to Interior fitouts / Workplace Design in Mohali, Punjab. The candidate will work along with the Design team and project management team during the pre-construction and construction phase.
The person will manage a commercial/corporate Interior Design project in totality. Will plan, interpret, organize, schedule, and manage projects through all phases of development. Will oversee design development, establish and monitor budgets. The candidate should demonstrate experience in all phases of Interior Design, MEP services, and project management.
How you can make a difference.
Develop and implement the project delivery strategy for design management, procurement, execution, testing, commissioning and handing over during the pre-construction, construction and post construction phases.
Lead and ensure appropriate processes are followed for planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling and delivering the project from concept stage to handover stage.
Through technical skills inculcate agile, collaborative, purposeful and pragmatic approach to project management and coordination among the team members and other agencies.
You have the knowledge of Design, Bylaws, relevant codes, standards, relevant to interior fit-outs.
Prepare all construction documents such as bill of quantities, specifications, estimates and contracts.
Follow up with contractors to provide a detailed work schedule as per the list of activities in the BOQs and contracts.
Coordinate sequence for activities amongst different contractors.
Monitoring of the overall timeline as provided in a detailed schedule by different contractors on a weekly basis.
Awarding and follow up of any direct orders to be placed directly apart from the general contractor such as tiles, furniture, equipment, etc. As per the sequence of the project.
What all you need.
Software skills required: Core Knowledge AutoCAD, google sketchup and google sheets.
Knowledge of Design, Bylaws, relevant codes, standards, relevant to interior fit-outs.
Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills for material procurement, construction quality supervision and status reporting and project tracking.
Experience in successfully adopting digital and technology initiatives.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.
