Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the new business process while working with Finance Manager and Financial Analyst

  • Responsible for the day-to-day general ledger accounting and reconciliation, financial reporting, and required analysis

  • Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

  • Prepare financial reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits as required

  • Prepare various MIS reports and financial statement

  • Enter accounting records to show expenditures and receipts; this includes entering data into the general ledger, trial balance, accounts payables and refunds accurately and efficiently

  • Participate in internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls

  • Assist in monthly account reconciliations and other accounting support responsibilities

  • Responsible for internal procurement and payments with proper approval process

  • Perform various financial analysis as required by the senior team members

  • Assist manager in fund management and cash flow analysis

  • Responsible for liaising with external parties like Bank, Auditor, CA, consultants in coordination with senior team members.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA/MBA preferred

  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

  • Knowledge of financial accounting tools such as Tally, Quickbooks etc

  • Knowledge & awareness of statutory compliances and updates including GST, Income Tax

  • Must have extremely strong Google sheet/MS Excel skills. GS Suite knowledge and experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of strategic business processes

  • Excellent operational acumen

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving aptitude

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging, fast paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
