Lead - Quality Analyst

The QA Lead/QA Manager will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage and mentor the QA team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement testing strategies that improve product quality and team efficiency.
How can you make a difference?
Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team to ensure timely delivery of projects. Conduct regular performance reviews and guide team members in their career development.
Design and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and frameworks to ensure product quality. Focus on automation, performance testing, and scalability of testing processes.
Identify gaps in existing QA processes and implement improvements. Define and drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Collaborate with product managers/business analysts, SME, architect, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure that testing aligns with business goals. Act as the point of contact for all QA-related activities.
Implement and maintain test automation frameworks. Drive the integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Ensure that the QA team uses the best tools and practices for test automation, defect tracking, and reporting.
Identify potential risks and ensure that they are communicated and mitigated during the project lifecycle.
Oversee test execution, ensure thorough test coverage, and track defects to closure. Prepare and present QA status reports, test metrics, and KPIs to stakeholders.
Work closely with the development team to ensure proper implementation of test cases and to facilitate the debugging process.
What all you need.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in QA with at least 2 years in a lead/managerial role
Experience with manual, performance and automated testing.
Strong background in functional, regression, and performance testing
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium)
Experience with test performance tools (e.g., Jmeter)
Experience with Postman
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Familiarity with Database is a plus
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus
Familiarity with software development languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
