We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing projects for our East Coast USA clients, working with geographically dispersed development teams in Africa and India. You will bring the ability to develop and deploy processes across all teams and projects to build the foundations for a project management practice as we rapidly scale.
Success in this position requires exceptional communication, client relationship management, and a proactive approach to ensuring project efficiency and delivery. This is a senior level role responsible to both the client C-Suite and Leadership within OneBCG
How you can make a difference.
Act as the primary point of contact for East Coast USA clients, managing expectations, communicating project progress, and fostering strong relationships.
Develop and deliver clear Statements of Work (SOWs) that accurately reflect project scope and timeline.
Proactively identify potential risks and roadblocks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
Lead and manage remote development teams in India, clearly communicating project requirements, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the agreed SOW, and work with clients and development teams to implement necessary changes.
Elevate the project management processes and practices utilizing current tools in use (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).
Prepare comprehensive project reports for executive management, including budget updates, risk assessments, and progress metrics.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive management, providing clear and concise project updates and insights.
What all you need.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, on time and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members across different cultures and time zones.
Demonstrably strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions.
Proven experience in developing and managing Statements of Work (SOWs) and change request management.
Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Experience working with remote teams in different time zones.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and conciseness.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
