The Product Manager role will be an integral part of our leadership team at ONE BCG where we create long-term partnerships with sector-leading businesses to build and design digital products crucial to our customers’ business needs. The primary responsibility of the Product Owner is to ensure that the payroll software developed meets the needs of the end-users and aligns with the overall business strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and development teams, to define and prioritize the product backlog.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the US payroll industry, including regulatory requirements, tax codes, and industry best practices.
Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product requirements documents to guide development teams.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the product vision, user needs, and business goals.
Continuously review and prioritize the product backlog based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
Conduct regular demos and product reviews to ensure that the product is meeting customer needs and business goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure that product features and functionality align with overall business strategy.
Develop and maintain a roadmap for the product, aligning with the overall company strategy and vision.
Act as the primary point of contact for any questions or concerns related to the product.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience as a Product Owner or similar role in US Payroll software development.
Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations and tax codes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize customer needs and business goals.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
